Responsibilities
Capture shipment data and generate customer sales invoices
Record all customer payments received into the ERP system
Retrieve payments across electronic and paper formats
Prepare daily bank deposits
Post approved customer contract deductions accurately and promptly
Reconcile customer account portals/statements and resolve discrepancies
Investigate account variances by gathering information from Sales, Trade Promotions, Returns, and Customer Service
Respond professionally and promptly to all customer inquiries
Coordinate directly with customers to ensure timely and complete payment
Assist with month-end closing processes
Maintain thorough, accurate electronic documentation in accordance with company policy and established accounting practices
Support additional AR tasks as needed
Assist with ad‑hoc financial and departmental projects
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, financial services, or a customer-focused environment
Highly organized, hands-on, and detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities
Able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong customer service mindset with the ability to interact professionally at all levels
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Experience working within ERP systems
Ability to scan, organize, and maintain electronic documentation effectively
Preferred
Bachelor's or Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
