Vice President of Sales
First Edge Capital Private Limited is seeking a Vice President of Sales for Financial Services responsible for the overall sales strategy and execution of the company's financial products or services. This role involves leading the sales team to achieve revenue growth and market expansion while developing effective sales strategies in a highly competitive environment.

Responsibilities
Develop overall sales strategy and annual sales plan to ensure the achievement of company business objectives
Analyze financial market trends, competitor activities, customer investment behavior, and policies and regulations to optimize sales strategies
Design differentiated sales plans for different product lines (e.g., funds, private equity, fintech platforms, insurance products, etc.)
Regularly update sales forecasts and adjust targets and resource allocation
Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing sales team (including key account managers, channel sales, and financial advisors)
Establish a performance management system for the sales team (KPIs, quarterly targets, incentive programs)
Guide the team in developing client visit plans, follow-up strategies, and negotiation plans
Develop sales talent to ensure continuous growth and stability of the team
Manage top client relationships and drive large transactions and long-term partnerships
Establish strategic partnerships with institutional clients, corporate clients, and high-net-worth individuals
Participate in key contract negotiations, including pricing, terms, and risk control
Coordinate with internal teams (legal, product, compliance) to ensure risk-free contract execution
Identify new market opportunities and evaluate potential clients and partners
Collaborate with the marketing team to plan promotional activities, roadshows, and high-net-worth client events
Expand channel sales and alliance partnerships to increase product coverage
Drive the sales implementation of cross-border business or new product launches
Monitor sales performance and analyze sales data, customer data, and market feedback
Regularly report sales performance, market trends, risk points, and improvement plans to the CEO or board of directors
Develop sales forecasting models, pipeline management, and customer value analysis methods
Optimize CRM systems and sales processes to improve sales efficiency
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
20+ years of sales experience in the financial industry (including banking, investment, wealth management, private equity, and fintech)
At least 10 years of experience managing sales teams
Deep knowledge of financial products and market insights
Excellent sales strategy planning and execution abilities
Outstanding team leadership and talent development skills
Strong customer relationship management and negotiation skills
Proficiency in using CRM, financial analysis tools, and sales data analysis
Proficiency in compliance, risk control, and industry regulatory requirements
Strategic thinking and global perspective
Results-oriented and strong execution ability
Excellent interpersonal communication skills and influence
Highly self-motivated and resilient under pressure
Cross-functional coordination and teamwork abilities
