Responsibilities
Coordinate and assign litigation support tasks to paralegals and legal assistants
Mentor and train litigation support staff to enhance procedural knowledge and litigation skills
Manage all phases of litigation support, including pleadings, motion practice, and trial preparation
Oversee pretrial filings and manage trial transcripts, exhibits, and related materials
Draft, review, and organize legal documents using Microsoft Word and CM/ECF
Conduct legal and factual research using Westlaw and other research platforms
Perform cite-checking and quality control to ensure accuracy and compliance with court rules
Organize and maintain case files and litigation documentation systems
Implement organizational tools for case calendars, deadlines, and litigation workflows
Communicate with courts, outside counsel, clients, and vendors as needed
Collaborate with attorneys to improve litigation support processes and efficiencies
Qualification
Required
3–6 years of experience as a Litigation Support Attorney
Strong understanding of federal and state litigation procedures
Advanced proficiency in legal research and Bluebook citation standards
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to mentor and train legal support staff
Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced litigation environment
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Proven time-management skills and ability to meet strict deadlines
High level of discretion, sound judgment, and commitment to confidentiality
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
Juris Doctor (J.D.) or LL.B. required
Admission to at least one U.S. state bar required; active status preferred
Fluency in written and spoken English
Experience with CM/ECF, PACER, Westlaw, and the Bluebook
