OMW Consulting is seeking an experienced Forward Deployed Engineer to lead the deployment of complex software and hardware systems in customer-facing environments. The role involves owning end-to-end deployments and working directly with customers to deliver high-impact solutions at airfields globally.

Responsibilities

Lead product deployments with customers, taking full ownership of integrations and launches at airfields globally
Architect tailored solutions that reflect the nuances of each customer’s operational environment
Work closely with internal engineering teams to transfer field knowledge and maintain a tight customer feedback loop
Deploy, integrate, and manage software and hardware systems in the field, including IoT devices
Lead product launches, configuration, and ongoing technical success, acting as the primary technical point of contact for customers
Write and configure code (primarily SQL) to adapt the product to specific customer environments
Must be able to commit code to the Go- based codebase

Required

An experienced engineer with a strong background in deploying complex software and hardware systems in production environments
Proven ability to own and lead end-to-end deployments in customer-facing settings
Comfortable operating in challenging, operational environments such as airfields
Strong project leadership skills with a track record of delivering high-impact implementations
5+ years of experience deploying software and/or hardware systems in customer production environments
Experience programming in Go
Experience with Python and SQL

Preferred

Experience in aviation, aerospace, or safety-critical industries
