Responsibilities
Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, representing BCG Attorney Search with a calm, confident, and friendly tone
Screen, prioritize, and route calls to the named person or the most appropriate internal contact
Take clear, detailed messages and follow up appropriately to ensure continuity
Handle routine inquiries and provide accurate general information while maintaining confidentiality
Manage call transfers, holds, and callbacks smoothly to create an excellent caller experience
Maintain and update internal contact lists, extensions, and routing notes as needed
Support basic administrative tasks during slower call periods (e.g., light scheduling support, data entry, scanning, filing, email triage)
Maintain discretion with sensitive information involving attorneys, candidates, and law firm clients
Qualification
Required
2+ years of receptionist, front desk, or high-volume phone support experience (professional office environment)
Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills (clear, professional, and personable)
Strong multitasking ability with excellent attention to detail
Ability to stay composed and efficient when handling urgent or high-pressure calls
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace (email, calendar, basic documents)
Reliable, punctual, and consistent follow-through
Preferred
Prior experience in a legal environment (law firm, legal services, legal recruiting)
Familiarity with legal terminology and professional services workflows
Experience using phone systems/VoIP platforms and call routing tools
