Responsibilities
Support the California Department of Public Health’s (CDPH) mission and strategic plan by creating customer-focused solutions that are responsive and agile, supporting a modern infrastructure, tools, architecture, and standards to effectively provide efficient services following service-level agreements
Leverage data and technology to create sustainability across CDPH by creating efficient solutions that meet customer expectations and reduce waste
Create innovative solutions, strengthen partnerships and collaborations, and embrace technology
Operate as a technical specialist for the development and maintenance of on-premise and/or cloud software systems and/or software applications
Act in a lead role on projects involving application and database development, technical system configuration, performance tuning, problem resolution, and provide support and maintenance for mission-critical applications and systems
Monitor, receive, and respond to production related and time sensitive work matters outside of normal business hours
Qualification
Required
Technical specialist for the development and maintenance of on-premise and/or cloud software systems and/or software applications
Lead role on projects involving application and database development
Technical system configuration
Performance tuning
Problem resolution
Support and maintenance for mission-critical applications and systems
Duties in the Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, and Business Technology Management domains
Ability to monitor, receive, and respond to production related and time sensitive work matters outside of normal business hours
