Responsibilities
Be the technical Liaison for the Tech Ops and Sales team on large scale projects
Interface & maintain ongoing dialogue for projects with Clients, Sales, CAD, Associate Engineers and SMEs, and Tech Ops team members
Ensure well executed system installation through detailed documentation packages, including but not limited to:
AutoCAD drawings
IP and network documentation
Change order and RFI documentation and scopes of work
Identify all cabling and miscellaneous material needs
Direct technical teams on installation challenges
Project manager liaison for engineering inquires
Assist and perform ongoing technical assessment, and support for tech ops during integration, install, & commissioning
Meet with vendors/prospective vendors to help evaluate products
Other duties assigned as needed
Qualification
Required
10+ years' experience in AV, broadcast, or large venue systems design
A thorough, demonstrable understanding of systems integration techniques
Skilled in the use of Computer aided drafting software
MS Office – able to use Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access proficiently without training
Preferred
CTS-D and/or CTS-I
Formal education in engineering or related field
