Perform maintenance, rectification and modification on Qantas and client aircraft components as per manufacturer and company specifications
Supervise and manage aircraft maintenance staff
Qualification
Required
A CASA/EASA (or equivalent) B2 licence with a B787-9 and/or A380 type rating
Proven leadership capabilities and demonstrated ability to effectively supervise, coach and motivate team members
Extensive experience in either Line, Intermediate or Heavy Maintenance
Excellent time management skills with the ability to effectively implement and manage change
A commitment to being a highly customer-focused team worker with flexibility and willingness to undertake other reasonable duties as required
Ensured conformance with practices and procedures covering the maintenance of aircraft with the objective of promoting the highest achievable standards
Experience completing tasks allocated in accordance with the procedure's manual and aircraft manufacturers maintenance manual
Ability to work unsupervised in a dynamic team environment
Commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement principles
Proven problem-solving skills, particularly when under pressure
Awareness of corporate occupational, health and safety responsibilities and procedures
Sound communications skills, both written and verbal as well as highly developed attention to detail
