Responsibilities
Identify and generate new business opportunities by researching and targeting potential customers
Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to understand their needs and provide solutions tailored to their projects
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities and stay informed on key customer needs
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our product offerings, including construction materials such as concrete, steel, aggregates, and more, to effectively communicate benefits and features to customers
Prepare sales presentations, proposals, and quotes and follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and continued business
Work closely with the operation and production teams to ensure seamless execution of sales orders and customer deliveries
Track and report sales activities, customer feedback, and progress toward sales goals
Up to 20% travel
Qualification
Required
Minimum of five (5) years of outside sales experience, preferably selling directly to homeowners
A working knowledge of slab and pier-and-beam foundations is ideal; however, Ram Jack will provide comprehensive training
Demonstrated track record of sales success, with experience earning an above-average income in a 100% commission-based environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn and grow in sales
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Must possess a clean driving record and be willing to submit to a background check
