Responsibilities
Be the lead structural expert through major projects
Designing, assessing, and verifying new and existing structures, with proficiencies in concrete and steel
Measure loads and pressures
Conduct complex computations caused by environmental or human influence
Create structural models by using computer-aided design software
Follow safety guidelines and regulations
Choose appropriate materials based on structural specifications
Prepare and allocate budgets
Prioritize, track, and report on several projects at one time
Collaborate with clients, contractors, designers, and project managers to coordinate programs and projects
Ensure employees are properly trained and follow all safety requirements
Qualification
Required
BS/MS degree in Civil / Structural Engineering
Professional Engineering License
8+ years' experience as a Structural Engineer with an emphasis in concrete and steel
Excellent knowledge of construction methods and regulations
Proficient with relevant design software and computer analysis software (Autodesk products)
Proficient with writing and editing specifications and technical reports
Data-driven mindset with excellent mathematical skills
Good communication ability (both written and verbal); English proficiency
Attention to detail
Strong time management and organizational skills
Proficient in the use of Office suite software
Work collaboratively on multiple projects
Preferred
SE
MS degree in Civil / Structural Engineering
