They are seeking a Keynote Speaker Pitching and Research Assistant to support Lauren’s speaking career by researching and reaching out to aligned speaking opportunities.
Media Production
Responsibilities
Researching aligned speaking opportunities across the US
Tracking call-for-speaker submissions and deadlines
Drafting and sending personalized pitch emails using provided templates
Making professional outreach calls when appropriate
Maintaining an organized database of outreach, submissions, and responses
Qualification
Required
Excellent people skills who is comfortable reaching out to new contacts via email and phone while representing Lauren with warmth, clarity, and enthusiasm
Genuinely connect with and believe in Lauren's work, message, and mission around creativity, leadership, and personal development
Strong research skills and attention to detail
Excellent writing and editing skills for professional outreach
Comfort making professional phone calls, when needed
Strong organization, reliability, and follow-through
Proficiency with Google Suite, specifically, spreadsheets
The ability to work independently with clear direction
Preferred
Experience supporting speakers, talent, founders, or event teams
Interest in conferences, PR, partnerships, communications, or performing arts
Past VA, talent agency or pitching experience
Bachelor's degree in Communications, public relationships, Marketing, Business, Theatre, or a related field
