Responsibilities
Conduct testing to ensure the reliability of medium and large power transformers with ratings up to 200 MVA
Ensure compliance with internal and external standards while preparing necessary documentation for testing
Perform functional testing of control wiring and troubleshoot any issues
Maintain and repair test equipment as required
Follow industry-standard testing practices to meet customer requirements
Qualification
Required
Ability to lift and carry objects and tools onto transformers (approximately 30ft+ in height) regularly
Minimum Electrical Associate Degree
0-1 year of related experience in the electrical field for Associate Test Technician
1-3 years of related experience in the electrical field for Test Technician I
3-5 years of related experience in the electrical field for Test Technician II
Must live or be willing to relocate to within a reasonable safe commute to the assigned plant location
Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer for U.S. based positions
Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in computer applications
Ability to learn software programs and apply them in daily work
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interact with various teams across departments
Self-driven and task-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement
