Responsibilities

Assists in patient care

Manages birth certificate processes

Maintains equipment and supplies

Sets up and scrubs for surgical procedures in the Labor & Delivery Operating Rooms

Performs clerical, order entry and receptionist duties

Works cooperatively on the nursing team to support patient care

Performs duties under moderate supervision

Qualification

Scrub tech trainingNational Provider BLSHealthcare technician experienceMaternal/Child experienceHigh quality patient care

Required

H.S. Diploma or GED

Coursework/Training: Successfully completes scrub tech training (didactic and hands-on), or equivalent educ/experience

Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred
