Entry, Mid LevelUltraContext is building the infrastructure layer for Recursive Language Models (RLMs), aimed at solving the limitations of current LLMs. They are seeking a Software Engineer to design and build foundational infrastructure, working across the stack and shipping features that enable next-generation LLM applications.

Responsibilities
Design and build REPL infrastructure and subagent orchestration systems
Work on real-time execution environments that need to be fast, reliable, and cost-efficient
Collaborate directly with founders on product and technical decisions
Ship quickly, iterate constantly, learn from users
Qualification
Required
Strong fundamentals in systems programming (Go, Rust, TypeScript, or Python)
Experience building and operating production systems
Comfortable with ambiguity — you figure things out, not wait for specs
Clear communicator who can explain complex ideas simply
Preferred
Experience with AI/ML pipelines
Experience with sandboxed execution
Experience with distributed systems
