Purchasing & Sourcing Coordinator
Closets By Design is a nationally recognized leader in home organizing systems, and they are seeking a Purchasing & Sourcing Coordinator. This role is responsible for the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials needed for closet manufacturing and installation, while also supporting production schedules and vendor management.

Responsibilities
Place and manage purchase orders for materials including hardware, accessories, and installation supplies
Ensure materials are ordered accurately and delivered on time to support production and installation schedules
Track open purchase orders, backorders, and lead times; proactively resolve supply issues
Maintain relationships with approved vendors and suppliers
Source new vendors and products as needed to improve cost, quality, or availability
Request and evaluate pricing, lead times, and terms; support cost-reduction initiatives
Monitor inventory levels and usage trends to avoid shortages or excess stock
Coordinate closely with manufacturing, design, and installation teams to anticipate material needs
Assist with inventory counts, reconciliation, and reporting
Qualification
Required
Some experience in purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain coordination recommended, though not required
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency with spreadsheets and purchasing or inventory systems
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
