Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain scalable Power Apps and Power Automate solutions that streamline business operations
Work with stakeholders in Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations to translate requirements into working, supportable apps
Leverage Dataverse, SQL, and connectors to integrate Power Platform solutions with Dynamics 365 (F&O / CE), SharePoint, and other enterprise systems
Develop reusable templates, components, and connectors to accelerate future projects
Ensure accessibility, usability, and responsive design across devices
Establish and maintain environment strategy, data-loss-prevention (DLP) policies, and solution-lifecycle management standards
Implement pipelines and ALM best practices in Azure DevOps / GitHub for packaging, promotion, and rollback
Manage permissions and connectors to enforce least-privilege and compliance with SOX / ITGC controls
Provide guidance and training to “citizen developers,” helping them build responsibly within approved environments
Maintain a catalog of certified apps and flows with clear ownership and documentation
Collaborate with the Integration Engineer and Data Architect to ensure data consistency and reliable API connections between Power Platform and other systems
Implement robust error handling, logging, and telemetry for all flows and apps
Participate in release planning and regression testing to validate changes across integrated environments
Support the creation of “gold” datasets in Fabric / Power BI for standardized reporting
Partner with Cybersecurity and Infrastructure teams to apply secure-by-design practices in all apps and connectors
Ensure identity management aligns with Entra ID roles and least-privilege access
Maintain audit trails for solution changes and deployments
Assist in periodic access reviews and evidence collection for audit readiness
Mentor junior and citizen developers, promoting code quality, reusability, and documentation
Stay current with Microsoft roadmap updates and recommend features that add measurable value
Lead periodic health reviews of environments, connectors, and DLP performance
Capture lessons learned from each project and update standards accordingly
Qualification
Required
Preferred bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field; equivalent practical experience accepted
7 + years of application or automation-development experience, including 3 + years on Microsoft Power Platform
Proven success implementing governance frameworks, ALM pipelines, and enterprise connectors
Experience integrating Power Platform with Dynamics 365, Azure Services, or on-premises systems
Demonstrated ability to lead mixed (internal, partner, and citizen-developer) teams through structured delivery cycles
Deep expertise in Power Apps (Canvas / Model-Driven), Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI, with thorough knowledge of solution packaging, environment management, and DLP policies
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including pipelines and using environment variables for ALM automation
Capable of building secure custom connectors and integrating REST APIs
Comfortable working with JavaScript, Power Fx, JSON, and SQL
Strong communicator, able to make technical concepts accessible to non-technical audiences
Adept at balancing innovation with controls supporting agility while ensuring security and audit requirements are met
Leads collaboratively, prioritizing enablement and sharing knowledge within teams
Preferred
Experience in regulated or manufacturing environments preferred
Preference for candidates with Microsoft Certified Power Platform Developer / Architect or similar credentials; familiarity with SAFe Agile is advantageous
