Product Manager, Agentic Development
AccelerOnc Studio is focused on building the future of software development and is seeking a Product Manager for Agentic Development. This role involves leading product development for AI systems that automate software tasks and ensuring that these systems serve the oncology care ecosystem effectively and equitably.
Venture Capital & Private Equity
Responsibilities
Lead sprint planning, roadmapping, and delivery for OncoBrain (AI treatment planning system) and ClearOnc (second opinion platform)
Balance competing needs across diverse users: patients navigating diagnoses, oncologists managing complex cases, care teams coordinating treatment, hospital administrators evaluating systems, enterprise buyers assessing ROI, and more
Ship features that serve all user types without sacrificing any of them
Model excellent product practices for other portfolio teams to learn from
Partner with CTO to design AI agents that automate software development: writing code, running tests, deploying features, learning from what works
Collaborate tightly with Discovery, Design & Validation PM: their agents identify what to build and validate solutions, your agents build and deploy them
Start with pilots in 2-3 companies, establish patterns, and scale infrastructure across all studio assets
Define when agents work autonomously versus when they need human oversight - critical in healthcare contexts
Build reusable systems: create once, deploy across the portfolio
Partner with VP of Product to facilitate explorations of value tensions and user-centered design, serving as a bridge between ethical inquiry and technical product requirements
Operationalize equity audits: Does agent-generated code work equally well across different patient populations, care settings, and health system contexts?
Engage patients, oncologists, and diverse stakeholders in participatory design to ensure we’re building what actually helps
Push back when something feels wrong - surface concerns about bias, fairness, or harm
Help establish studio-wide practices that prevent us from building biased or inequitable systems
Share learnings across portfolio: What agentic development patterns work? What challenges remain? What’s transferable?
Coordinate with the workstream leads across companies to gather infrastructure requirements and enable their work
Document what works and what doesn’t for scaling practices portfolio-wide
Connect patterns you see across different oncology domains (treatment recommendations, genomics, imaging, clinical trials, etc.)
Translate Discovery PM’s validated designs into clear technical requirements and implementation plans
Inform roadmaps based on what you learn from building with agents: where does automation work well? Where do we need human judgment?
Identify opportunities where agentic development can accelerate specific portfolio companies
Other duties, as assigned
Qualification
