Responsibilities
Design the overall structure and flow of Build IT LIVE, including session topics, learning tracks, speaker mix, and attendee journey
Build agendas and discussion frameworks for quarterly Mastermind and Accelerator programs
Partner with leadership to identify topics that matter most to MSP executives and turn them into practical sessions
Develop session formats such as keynotes, panels, workshops, and peer discussions
Review attendee feedback and program outcomes to improve future events
Identify, recruit, and manage speakers, panelists, and facilitators
Handle speaker outreach, confirmations, expectations, and deadlines
Create clear speaker briefs so content aligns with program goals
Coordinate speaker schedules, preparation, and on-site support
Own end-to-end accountability for Build IT LIVE and all events in the portfolio
Delegate logistics execution to a junior coordinator while maintaining oversight
Review and approve run of show documents, timelines, staffing plans, and production schedules
Lead on-site execution and serve as the decision maker during live events
Act as the escalation point for venues, hotels, and vendors
Ensure a strong experience for executives, speakers, and VIP attendees
Manage and mentor a junior event coordinator based in India
Delegate vendor coordination, timelines, documentation, speaker research, shipping, and attendee communications
Provide clear direction, feedback, and quality control across time zones
Maintain accountability for final delivery and event quality
Oversee programming and execution across the annual conference, quarterly programs, and trade shows
Maintain the annual event calendar and execution plan
Manage event budgets, expense tracking, invoices, and post-event reconciliation
Work closely with marketing, sales, and leadership to align events with business goals
Qualification
Required
8+ years of B2B event experience with real ownership of conference programs and agendas
Experience designing educational conferences, executive programs, or peer learning experiences
Hands-on experience supporting multi-day conferences with several hundred attendees
Experience working with speakers and shaping content, not just scheduling logistics
Comfort delegating work while staying accountable for outcomes
Strong communication, organization, and on-site leadership skills
Ability to work across U.S. and India time zones
Ability to work full time from the Freehold, New Jersey office
Preferred
B2B technology, MSP, or SaaS experience
Experience facilitating mastermind groups or executive peer programs
Background in curriculum design or adult learning
Experience building accelerator-style programs
Trade show execution experience
Experience supporting senior executive audiences
