Responsibilities

Lead electrical engineering programs through the complete product development lifecycle
Develop comprehensive project plans with clear milestones, dependencies, and resource requirements
Identify and mitigate technical and program risks through data-driven analysis and proactive problem-solving
Collaborate with electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, firmware developers, and manufacturing teams to resolve technical challenges
Communicate project status, risks, and decisions to senior leadership and stakeholders
Drive continuous improvement in electrical engineering processes and methodologies
Manage vendor and supplier relationships for electrical components and systems
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety requirements for electrical systems

Required

Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related fields
5+ years of experience in technical program management or electrical engineering
3+ years of experience leading cross-functional technical teams
Demonstrated experience managing complex electrical engineering projects
Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, components, and systems
Experience with project management methodologies and tools

Preferred

Master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
project management certification such as PMP, Scrum, or other Agile certification
Technical experience with capacity based distributed energy resources
Knowledge of manufacturing processes for electrical components and systems
Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements (UL, CE, FCC, etc.)
Experience with electric utilities and electrical testing equipment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
