Business Systems Analyst (BSA) – Wealth Management
ITR Group is seeking a seasoned Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support Separately Managed Account (SMA) initiatives within a Wealth Management environment. This role serves as a critical liaison between Business and IT, translating business needs into clear, actionable functional requirements while supporting delivery, testing, and implementation activities.

Responsibilities
Act as the primary liaison between Business stakeholders and Technology teams
Facilitate discussions to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements
Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications aligned to system capabilities
Manage requirements traceability and change control throughout the project lifecycle
Collaborate with architects and technical partners to ensure solutions align with business objectives
Develop a deep understanding of business processes, data flows, and system interdependencies
Analyze complex system and process issues and recommend improvements or new designs
Identify risks, issues, and dependencies; propose mitigation strategies
Create and execute test plans, including test cases, scripts, and production check-out activities
Ensure testing environments and test data adequately support all test scenarios
Participate in defect triage, issue resolution, and validation of fixes
Support implementation readiness and post-deployment verification
Develop and maintain business, functional, and technical documentation
Create/update user guides, procedural manuals, and operational support documentation
Ensure deliverables align with project governance standards and methodologies (e.g., CMMi)
Provide regular status updates to project managers and senior leadership
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Business Analyst
Wealth Management experience required, with direct exposure to Separately Managed Accounts (SMA)
Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering and documentation
Experience working with managed account platforms and model delivery processes
Testing experience required (test planning, execution, defect management)
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels
Comfortable working in highly matrixed, cross-functional, and agile environments
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity
Proficiency with BA tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, or similar
Preferred
Experience supporting advisory platforms or wealth management technology solutions
Solid analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
