Responsibilities
Develop the 3D scanning Android application together with the full solution R&D team
Design features that function reliably in construction environments with limited connectivity
Build real-time positioning systems, integrating GNSS, IMU data and custom hardware
Implement on-device ML and computer vision for real-time processing
Design and maintain offline-first architecture with intelligent data synchronization
Build intuitive UX for field use, including gloves, bright sunlight and time-critical workflows
Work with photogrammetry and Structure from Motion (SfM) techniques
Collaborate with ML, backend and QA teams on model deployment, data pipelines and device testing
Drive technical decisions related to architecture, performance and code quality
Qualification
Required
8+ years of professional Android development experience
Expert-level Kotlin skills and deep understanding of Android SDK internals
Experience with hardware integration (Bluetooth, USB, serial communication)
Strong understanding of sensor APIs: GPS/GNSS, accelerometer, gyroscope, camera
Proven experience building offline-first, performance-optimized mobile applications
Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex technical systems
Preferred
Experience with GNSS / RTK positioning, computer vision or 3D capture
Experience with on-device ML inference and sensor fusion
Familiarity with iOS development
Experience using AI-assisted coding tools (such as Cursor or GitHub Copilot)
