Director of Technical Sales
Chief Engineering PLLC is a full-service design engineering and consulting firm seeking an experienced Director of Technical Sales to drive business growth. The role involves understanding client needs, generating high quality sales leads, managing key accounts, and ensuring sales targets are met while driving revenue growth.

Responsibilities
Provide company representation in industry related forums, conferences and other related events
Understand the needs of our clients to accurately demonstrate the need for our services
Showcase expertise in our services to confidently present our solutions to address our customers needs
Identify and remove any potential roadblocks early in the sales process
Designing and customizing solutions based on customer specifications, which might involve integrating various services to create a comprehensive solution
Educating customers about our services, benefits, and technical capabilities
Preparing detailed proposals, quotes, or bids that include technical specifications, pricing, and terms
Staying informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and technological advancements to keep sales strategies current and effective
Engaging in negotiations regarding technical requirements, pricing, or service level agreements when closing deals
Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, analysts, and industry partners
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objective
Develop and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement
Establish and maintain relationships with key customers and partners to drive revenue growth and expand market share
Maintain in depth knowledge of products and services
Act as a liaison between customers and the engineering team to manage product feedback and improvements
Travel to customers site and walk the job as necessary to understand the scope of work
Qualification
Required
Senior level – minimum 10 years of experience
BS or Master's degree in Engineering, (license preferred)
Vast experience with engineering in an industrial environment
Proven ability to acquire new customers and enhance revenue from existing customers
Proven ability to build new relationships, maintain/enhance existing relationships with customers across industrial sphere
Strong network and networking skills
Travel expected: up to 50%
Knowledge of construction considerations in an industrial environment
