Responsibilities
Be the expert for your products, combining industry analysis, end-user feedback, and continue to evolve to the product vision and strategy for your domain
Lead and communicate product roadmaps for your domain
Build relationships with cross-functional teams at Amex GBT and third party partners including user experience, engineering, analytics, marketing, commercial, operations, and more
Work with partners across product, technology and operations to translate customer needs into workable technology solutions, and deliver world-class products
Understand our company and product objectives, business traveler challenges, and opportunities to improve the travel experience
Lead the execution of products from inception through launch and observation post-launch, including prioritization of maximum impact initiatives, anticipating delivery risks and managing trade-offs
Pull, analyze, and share data to drive prioritization and decision making
Define and drive business outcomes and metrics for your domain
Incorporate the latest technology available including AI into products to improve the user experience
Be vigilant to drive simplicity and extensibility in the face of complexity and customers' desires for tailor-made solutions
Qualification
Required
8+ years of software product management experience
Deep understanding of product management industry standards and innovations
Experience with current Agile, UX practices, frameworks for product discovery, and launch strategies
Travel industry experience beneficial (airline, hotel, online travel agencies or other travel-tech companies)
Passionate about approaching projects collaboratively and with a positive attitude to deliver quality products on time
Able to communicate in a concise and clear way to senior leaders, technical, and non-technical partners
Strong strategic perspective; able to see the big picture and roll up your sleeves to push projects through to completion
Passionate about developing product best practices, and building a strong product management community
