Responsibilities
Assess and redesign MRI configurations, including entity structures and fund setups, to enhance reporting capabilities and eliminate manual workarounds through standardization and automation
Streamline monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes within MRI, ensuring compliance with GAAP while enhancing efficiency and transparency in financial reporting
Develop scalable cost allocation models for campus-style assets, embedding allocation logic within MRI to ensure repeatability and auditability
Optimize MRI setups for international entities, including multi-currency functionality and alignment of close calendars to support consolidated reporting
Evaluate integrations between MRI and other systems, diagnose data inconsistencies, and collaborate with technology teams to ensure stable and validated data flows for improved reporting and insights
Qualification
Required
Over 10 years of experience in institutional real estate accounting environments
Hands-on experience in configuring and optimizing MRI Property and Fund Accounting systems
Proven track record in MRI reconfiguration, Chart of Accounts redesign, and optimizing reporting hierarchies
Experience managing campus-style or multi-building real estate portfolios, including cross-border entities
Strong ability to work in a project-based advisory role with senior stakeholders, focusing on property-level and fund-level accounting processes
