Responsibilities
Infrastructure Design: Architect and deploy scalable, high-availability, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS
Automation & IaC: Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation to automate resource provisioning
CI/CD Integration: Build and maintain automated deployment pipelines to support seamless software delivery
Monitoring & Optimization: Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (CloudWatch, Prometheus) to ensure system health and optimize performance
Cost Management: Monitor cloud spend and implement cost-saving strategies like Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, and resource right-sizing
Disaster Recovery: Design and test backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and business continuity
Qualification
Required
Deep expertise in EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda, Route 53, and IAM
Experience with orchestration platforms like Amazon ECS or EKS (Kubernetes)
Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, or Go) for automation tasks
Strong understanding of cloud networking (Subnets, VPNs, Direct Connect, Load Balancers)
Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (Aurora, DynamoDB, MongoDB)
AWS Professional Certifications - AWS certified solution architect professional, AWS certified DevOps engineer – professional and/or AWS Specialty Certifications - Security etc
Preferred
Experience with multi-cloud environments (Azure or GCP)
Knowledge of serverless architecture and event-driven design
Familiarity with third-party monitoring tools like Datadog, New Relic, or Splunk
Big-4 or top tier Professional Services experience is a plus
