Inside Higher Ed is seeking a Student Services Program Coordinator I to provide comprehensive customer service support to students in the Financial Aid and Veterans Assistance Department. The role involves assisting students with applications, performing administrative tasks, and delivering training support to staff.

Responsibilities

Assist students in multiple functional areas of the Financial Aid and Veterans Assistance Department
Perform data entry, record keeping, application processing, and related administrative tasks
Communicate effectively with students, applicable family members, advisors, outside agencies, financial aid officers, and veterans certifying officials
Support students in completing applications and maintaining eligibility for financial aid and veterans benefits
Provide training support across all functional areas, including onboarding new staff and supporting updated processes for current staff
Deliver ongoing support to ensure accurate and timely service delivery

Required

This position requires a bachelor's degree
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, administrators, staff, students, parents, coworkers, and the general public

Ability to learn, interpret, and follow applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures
Ability to work independently with sound judgment to maintain compliance while providing excellent customer service in all internal and external interactions
