Responsibilities
Logistical supports for Computer Science Education Programs and the Statewide Design Challenge
Works closely with management to achieve the goals of the Battelle Education team and completes deliverables in accordance with project timelines
Manages logistics for program events and application process including the day-to-day correspondents with program participants
Prepares materials supporting programs and coordinates professional development and event plans with management and key partners
Acquires space and resources to meet project needs (space, catering, workshop materials)
Supports day-to-day communications for the Ohio STEM Learning Network
Manages the events page on the website
Creates ongoing social media content to reinforce core messages
Ensures that brand standards are consistent through all produced materials
Supports the day-to-day operations of the Ohio STEM Learning Network team
Qualification
Required
Requires a Bachelor's degree with experience managing projects or events
Highly adaptable within a collaborative work environment
Strong communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail, interpersonal, organizational, motivational and problem-solving skills
Strong computer skills
A strong track record as an implementer who thrives on managing a variety of projects concurrently
Self-starter, able to work independently as well as with a team
Knowledge and understanding of current trends and issues in education and business
Travel to support clients and contracts (up to 20%)
Preferred
Knowledge of the state and national landscape of STEM and/or computer science education preferred
Prefer candidate with 2+ years of experience organizing projects or events
