Responsibilities
Design and build scalable, secure, and reliable solutions for Azure Data services, ensuring high quality and modularity
Improve test coverage, implement integration tests, and address issues to enhance service reliability and maintainability
Automate production and deployment processes, running code in non-production environments to ensure functionality
Uphold compliance with security, privacy, safety, and accessibility standards, and demonstrate product compliance
Integrate telemetry and data analytics to monitor system health, drive product refinement, and inform engineering decisions
Maintain live service operations, respond promptly to incidents, and implement solutions to complex issues as they arise
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement, sharing postmortem insights with the team

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience
Candidates must be able to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role
The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with Polygraph
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role
Failure to maintain or obtain the appropriate U.S. Government clearance and/or customer screening requirements may result in employment action up to and including termination
This position requires successful verification of the stated security clearance to meet federal government customer requirements
You will be asked to provide clearance verification information prior to an offer of employment
This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
This position requires verification of U.S. citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions
