The Testing Center Technician will assist with the administration and proctoring of testing processes within the college community, ensuring testing procedures are followed and providing support to students.

Responsibilities
Assist with the administration and proctoring of testing processes within the college community
Proctoring includes issuing, administering and controlling tests, and ensuring all testing procedures and policies are followed
Troubleshooting technological issues as required
Maintain confidentiality in all matters associated with student testing
Open and close the testing center as appropriate
Monitor and utilize the testing email account
Suggest process improvements
Provide information and support to students to facilitate communication between distance learning students and faculty
Complete other duties as assigned
Work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends
Qualification
Required
Experience using a variety of computer applications and demonstrated ability to assist students with the use of applications for testing purposes
Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies
Ability to work with a diverse population of clientele
Experience providing customer service and excellent customer service skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Organization skills and detail orientation
Demonstrated ability to perform duties accurately and in a timely manner
Preferred
College course work
Experience proctoring tests in an academic environment
