The Administrative Assistant will organize and coordinate office administration to ensure efficiency and safety, manage the front office, oversee appointment scheduling, and perform clerical duties.

Responsibilities
Manage the front office of the facility
Greeting clients as they enter the facility
Oversee the scheduling of all appointments
Oversee medical records filing, transcription, and transfer of records and assist the facility in completing these responsibilities
Perform basic clerical duties including but not limited to- answering phones, mailing, administrative filing, copying, faxing and typing
Purchase office and client supplies
Assist with intake process and billing sheets
Maintains office equipment including corresponding with vendors when maintenance is required
Handles the petty cash
Responsible for the appearance, cleanliness and organization of the office
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School diploma required
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Ability to learn new systems including electronic medical records
Ability to handle a crisis and or potential risk situation and react appropriately
A working knowledge of federal and state standards as well as regulating body and compliance standards
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience in administrative functions preferred
Experience within the behavioral healthcare field preferred
