Responsibilities
Explore new algorithms and architecture for AI Silicon accelerator
AI model aware quantization algorithm development and optimization for multi-platform deployment
Develop bit-accurate C-models and test platform
Drive Architecture studies by writing new Hardware Architecture exploration models
Collaborate with Hardware, Software Architecture teams
Support Design, DV, Emulation, kernel development teams through Silicon development cycle
You are expected to work with limited direction, have attention to detail and be able to provide crisp status of progress, issues, and risks on the program to the management team
Qualification
Required
Doctorate in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 1+ year(s) technical engineering experience OR Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience OR equivalent experience
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter

4+ years of experience with architecture modeling at various levels of abstraction, and analysis
4+ years of C/C++ coding experience
Expertise in any one of the following areas: Fixed-function HW blocks, SIMD/ SIMT architecture, Linear algebra / matrix operations
