3+ years expConfidential company is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to manage shipping operations. The role involves scheduling carriers, preparing shipping documents, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements while maintaining high performance metrics.

Responsibilities
Communicate effectively with site personnel regarding the daily ship list and maintain high on-time, in-full (OTIF) performance
Schedule carriers for loading and unloading shipments as per approved carrier lists using SAP
Check in all inbound and outbound trucks, performing required safety inspections prior to loading/unloading
Prepare and verify shipping documents (packing list, bill of lading, loading diagrams, pallet placards) for LTL, truckload, and container shipments both manually and through SAP, ensuring compliance with legal requirements
Understand and apply Incoterms, FAK class, and other shipping terminology to ensure correct freight classification
Assign seal numbers and update SAP with tracking numbers to enable shipment tracking by customers
Ensure all freight is properly loaded each day and confirm that all scheduled shipments have left the facility
Record all freight charges per shipment to ensure proper vendor payment
Verify delivery specifications to ensure the correct product ships with accurate delivery details and without packaging defects
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
3–5 years of demonstrated experience in a shipping/receiving environment
Basic computer knowledge, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
SAP experience is mandatory
