RA Residential Assistant AOD 2nd Shift

The RA Residential Assistant AOD will provide case management, crisis intervention, and support for clients in various areas including medical and social needs, while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with care standards.

Responsibilities
Provide case management with crisis intervention, discharge plan, group & individual work, mental health/substance use disorder counseling, screening, and assist clients in meeting basic needs and symptom management
Complete accurate and timely documentation, meet minimum billable requirements for direct client services if contractually required
Facilitate placement including pre-placement visits, and transportation as needed
Shift coverage including part of the on-call team
Provide field-based services as required by program and client need
Maintain confidentiality of client’s care
Participate in scheduled program meetings
Offer medications as scheduled or as needed, complete accurate medication compliance and accurate medication data entry
Conduct observed, baseline and random drug testing
Monitor and observe health and safety of residential and withdrawal management participants
Conduct walkthroughs and property searches
Other relevant duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School diploma required
Registered or certified from recognized AOD certifying (CCAPP, CADTP, CAADE) board is required
Valid CA driver's license and current auto insurance per contract requirements required
Cultural competency understanding required
CPR/First Aid certification (required within 30 days of hire), and bi-annual thereafter
Preferred
Experience providing mental health and/or substance use disorder services preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and EHR software preferred
Bilingual preferred
