Responsibilities
Ownership of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
Collaborate with production teams to monitor manufacturing costs and efficiency, including inventory valuation
Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and operational improvements, provide financial insights to senior management
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely payments and collections
Monitor key financial and operational metrics (KPIs) and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and profitability
Partner with the operation, engineering, and supply chain team to track and analyze manufacturing costs, labor utilization, and material spending
Evaluate capital expenditure requests, ROI analyses, and project cost tracking
Assist with pricing analysis, cost modelling, and margin analysis to support customer quotations and contracts
Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
5-10 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a manufacturing or aerospace industrial environment
Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and financial reporting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience with ERP systems, Visual is preferred
