Responsibilities

Own the BFSI business unit P&L, setting strategy, revenue plans, and margin targets; manage and grow from $100M -> $300M
Lead partner-aligned sales motions with Databricks (preferred), Snowflake, and Microsoft Fabric; operate multi-cloud across AWS and GCP
Own the GTM for BFSI —from ICP and territory design to pipeline creation, deal coaching, and close
Hire, lead, and develop a high-performing team (hunters, player/coach leaders, alliances, solution architects), establishing repeatable plays and field discipline
Hunt and close net-new logos while expanding strategic BFSI accounts; create executive relationships across technology and line-of-business stakeholders
Drive joint-selling motions and field alignment with partners (MDF, co-marketing, partner-led demand gen, attach to consumption)
Codify repeatable sales plays (migration, modernization, MDS/Unity/Delta, AI/ML, GenAI enablement, cloud cost optimization) and industry-specific AI offers
Shape solutions and structure deals in close collaboration with the Head of Consulting (CTO-type) and delivery leadership
Establish forecasting cadence and hygiene (pipeline velocity, stage conversion, win plans) and bring board-ready visibility to performance drivers
Represent the firm at ecosystem conferences, partner events, and executive briefings; be a visible BFSI thought leader

Required

Proven success selling data platform services (Databricks, Snowflake, Fabric preferred) into BFSI —banks, wealth/asset managers, capital markets, payments, insurers
Partner‑led selling track record within the modern data ecosystem; comfort co‑selling and aligning to cloud and ISV field teams
Background in specialist data & AI consulting/services; fluency in modern data architectures and the ability to lead meaningful technical conversations without relying solely on pre‑sales
Entrepreneurial builder who can stand up pipeline, messaging, org design, and process from the ground up
Confident operating in an early, lightly resourced environment, influencing delivery and GTM while maintaining executive polish with C‑Suite & PE sponsors

Preferred

Bonus if you've sold in consumption‑based models (cloud & lakehouse), challenged solution direction as a trusted advisor, and consistently exceeded quota or BU targets
Prior success scaling a Data & AI practice or leading a partner‑aligned (Databricks/Snowflake/Microsoft) motion
Existing relationships across Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft, AWS, and GCP ecosystems
Professional services leadership background (solutioning, delivery alignment, commercial governance)

Track record building inside PE‑backed or high‑growth organizations
