Responsibilities
Fabricate and assemble custom sports facility products
Stretch and cut material to precise measurements
Safely operate equipment such as grommet machines, sewing machines (powering on/off, pedals, threading), hot knives, scissors, tape measures, and chalk lines
Identify and retrieve required materials; return unused rolls and supplies to storage
Fold, tie, and prepare finished products for transfer to the shipping department
Maintain a clean and safe work area by using PPE, following machine safety procedures, and reporting equipment failures or defects
Work effectively both independently and as part of a team, depending on task assignments
Qualification
Required
Position requires recent relevant experience in one of the following fields: manufacturing or production, maintenance, or construction
Ability to read and understand basic work orders and instructions
Physically capable of performing fabrication tasks (lifting and pulling up to 50 lbs., standing, bending, stretching, etc.)
Comfortable working in warehouse conditions affected by outdoor weather and climate
Basic knowledge of measurements and math for accuracy in cutting and assembly
Strong attention to detail, including verifying measurements, color matches, and straight cuts. Reliability in following directions and collaborating with team members
Bilingual English/Spanish highly desired but not required
Knowledge of basic hand tools
Willing to submit to a drug test and a federal-level (Department of Justice) background check
Ability to join our travel teams and work out of state (we cover all travel arrangements and costs, including per diems)
Physically fit to do the outdoor activities once transferred to a field Installer
Valid California driver's license
