Project Controls Manager

Responsibilities

Lead project controls activities, including planning, cost management, risk management, and performance monitoring, across complex infrastructure projects
Establish and maintain standardized PMO frameworks, processes, and best practices to ensure consistent, high-quality reporting and delivery outcomes
Provide guidance and oversight to project teams, mentoring project controllers and driving continuous improvements in tools, processes, and reporting standards
Monitor project progress, manage change control, assess risks, and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment, effective communication, and compliance with governance and quality standards

Required

10+ years' experience in project controls, including at least 5 years in senior PCM roles, with a proven track record in high-value rail or infrastructure projects
Minimum Level 8 degree (or equivalent) in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
Extensive knowledge of project controls tools, planning, scheduling, cost management, risk management, and reporting principles
Experience managing complex projects within regulated environments, including understanding contractual and financial requirements
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence multidisciplinary teams

Preferred

Professional certifications such as PMP, APM, or equivalent
Experience in quality assurance and process improvement within the construction or infrastructure sector
Proven ability to deliver projects efficiently, manage multiple technical requirements, and maintain high standards of governance
