Responsibilities

Knowledge of office management policies, procedures, and organizational function of the STVHCS and MHPL to organize and manage a wide variety of internal and external reports
Analyze all current and potential care delivery methods and models by use of available technological resources and information sharing methods
Knowledgeable regarding the development of recruitment and marketing materials
Assesses programs for continuity and consistency and develops better programs and ensure policy is followed to maintain and improve health care delivery systems
Understands and complies with Records Control Schedule 10-1 with ability to manage confidential files, sensitive information and detailed records
Data collection and reporting. Knowledge of the data collection and reporting required for various training programs. Ability to develop reports and presentations
Under the direction of the BHIP/PCMHI/PCT Program Manager, assists in the planning and tracking of all Performance Measures for BHIP/PCMHI/PCT and the Psychology Service
Develops and maintains contacts with professional or no-professional people of the community. The people may represent State or Federal programs, organizations, care givers employers, landlords, along with other concerned individuals, groups or agencies
Plans and organizes departmental annual events including national and local recruitment, new trainee orientation, graduation preparations, faculty retreats and trainings, as well as various meetings and program-related events
Prioritize number of tasks at any one time
Track the ongoing activities of the programs and maintain accurate and easily retrievable records of resident/staff training, certification, conference attendance, and resident evaluation and review
Work with numerous and varied computer software programs. Includes thorough knowledge and ability to work with DHCP/VISTA, Microsoft (MS) Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook to collate and manipulate data, conduct analyses
Website and SharePoint maintenance experience to assist with data collection and program administration
Manages the evaluative processes of the trainees, program, faculty and rotations. Coordinates trainee rotations as appropriate
Work under stressful situations with individuals from varied backgrounds while maintaining tact and diplomacy
Intermediate knowledge of Excel. Familiar with the CPRS record and the clinical reminder system
Collate and manipulate data, conduct analyses and develop reports, presentations, monitors and prepare correspondence utilizing Pyramid Analytics
Performs duties associated with occupational health, fire safety and environmental of care
Works independently and must develop communication lines with professional, non-professional personnel
Works closely with DSS to ensure trainees are mapped according to their respective rotations and monitors and submits changes to DSS once rotations change
Provides Chief of Psychology Service with objective information for making decisions pertaining to business and administrative performance measures

You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-06 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization
There is no educational substitution at this grade level
Only education or degrees recognized by the U.S. Department of Education from accredited colleges, universities, schools, or institutions may be used to qualify for Federal employment
