Responsibilities
Performs a variety of software and/or hardware engineering activities of an analysis, design, or test nature
Participates on project teams and performs alongside engineers and technical staff
Plans and conducts research, development, or installation of products and systems in conformance with engineering design and customer specification
Qualification
Required
Minimum Education: HS Degree
Minimum Experience: Three years of experience with acoustic sensors and signal processing
The experience shall also include a thorough understanding of in-water measurement arrays, equipment maintenance, and the interfacing of hardware and software for operation of measurement arrays
Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance
Preferred
Towed Array handling, installations, maintenance, and operation in US Navy environment
Advanced technician skills, soldering, and troubleshooting electronic equipment
