Responsibilities

Maintain and reconcile fixed asset records, including acquisitions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation schedules
Assist in the preparation and analysis of capital budgets and long-term capital plans
Monitor and report on capital spending projects, evaluating financial impact, return on investment (ROI), and budget adherence
Conduct financial analysis to identify opportunities for improved asset utilization and capital efficiency
Support month-end close by preparing journal entries and analyzing account variances related to Maintenance & Repair (M&R) spend
Collaborate cross-functionally on a monthly basis to ensure all M&R-related transactions are accurately captured, reconciled, and aligned with budget expectations
Develop and maintain monthly financial KPIs to identify M&R trends and support strategic decision-making
Respond to inquiries from senior finance leadership regarding financial results, trends, and reporting
Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of corporate income tax returns and related schedules
File federal, state, and other required government reports in compliance with applicable regulations
Assist with LN system maintenance testing and financial system enhancements
Support year-end audit preparation, including documentation and auditor inquiries
Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives and the implementation of new procedures within the department

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required
3–5 years of relevant experience in fixed asset accounting, corporate tax compliance, capital planning, or a related financial role
