Responsibilities

Provide support, council and recommendations to section management
Implement plans with functional leads to respond to issues/problems and define corrective actions
Establish and maintain operational connectivity to partner organization; guide section leadership on identified issues and corrective approach
Conduct QMI/KPI/metrics reviews for section programs
Guide vision and development for team capability in Flight Deck fundamentals, such as daily management visualizations
Contribute to ATO department operations collaborations
Guide cross functional teams in executing Flight Deck principles to support assigned projects
Champion a culture of continuous improvement and focused Problem Solving
Expand section awareness of lean principles and tools applicable to engineering
Define and deploy relevant training curriculum to expand lean mindset
Develop a strategic approach for effectively implementing transactional lean in engineering

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college
At least 5 additional years of experience in an engineering position
This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore, employment will be contingent upon the ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, have been granted asylee or refugee status (i.e., a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3))

Familiarity with Control System and Embedded Software design processes, and/or supplier designed hardware process
