Responsibilities
A proponent of change management - encourages change and creative problem solving
Ensure KPI requirements are met and leveraged across safety, engagement, and operational performance for continuous improvement
Commits to continuous improvement and providing excellent levels of customer service
Plan, direct, and coordinate the work activities of all areas of production
Works with Human Resources to determine resources in relations to staffing and training
Monitors customers feedback and handles issues in an efficient and timely manner
Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations, and company policies including OSHA, FDA, HACCP, FSMA, SQF, etc
Reviews and ensures all safety, quality and productivity standards are achieved for operations
Works directly with transportation teams to ensure any load issues are handled timely and with minimal disruption to our customers
Strategically collaborates with automation and development teams to guarantee effective operational outcomes
Ensures that customer orders are selected, assembled, and loaded according to established MDI procedures, standards, and expectations
Qualification

Preferred
Advanced logistic experience in a warehouse, distribution, or assembly environment. Hands-on WMS experience preferred
Bachelor's degree or relative work experience
5-7 years leadership responsibilities in warehouse/manufacturing
Strong ability to work in a fast-paced and high intensity environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presentations and reviews
Strong judgement and decision-making skills
Exposure to automation systems preferred
Intermediate to Advanced level of Microsoft Office applications
