Responsibilities
Assist in the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of cybersecurity tools and technologies
Support monitoring and analysis of security events, logs, and alerts from SIEM, EDR, and other security platforms
Collaborate with IT Infrastructure, Cloud, Application, and DevOps teams to integrate security controls into systems and workflows
Assist with vulnerability scanning, remediation tracking, and validation of security fixes
Support secure configuration and hardening of servers, networks, endpoints, and cloud environments
Participate in incident response activities including investigation, containment, documentation, and root-cause analysis
Assist in managing access controls, identity and access management (IAM), and privileged access
Support firewall, VPN, endpoint protection, and network security configurations under guidance from senior engineers
Help implement security best practices aligned with NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and other relevant frameworks
Support security testing, audits, and compliance initiatives by providing technical evidence and documentation
Maintain documentation for security architecture, configurations, procedures, and incident reports
Assist with ad-hoc security engineering tasks and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
1–2 years of experience in Cybersecurity Engineering, Security Operations, or IT Infrastructure with a security focus
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Working knowledge of network security concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS)
Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, vulnerability scanners, firewalls, and endpoint protection platforms
Basic experience with Windows and/or Linux system administration
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud security concepts
Understanding of security frameworks and standards (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, HIPAA, etc.)
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional technical and non-technical teams
