Responsibilities
Proven experience with IBM mainframe environments
Strong proficiency in JCL, COBOL, REXX, VSAM, and mainframe utilities
Knowledge of mainframe databases (DB2, IMS) and transaction processing systems (CICS, MQ).Solid understanding of system internals, performance tuning, and job scheduling
Experience with mainframe modernization or integration with distributed/cloud platforms is a plus
Qualification
Required
Design, implement, and support mainframe systems and infrastructure
Develop and maintain batch jobs and online transaction processing applications
Monitor system performance and perform capacity planning to ensure system stability
Troubleshoot and resolve system failures, application issues, and performance bottlenecks
Perform regular system maintenance, patches, and upgrades to mainframe operating systems and software
Proven experience with IBM mainframe environments
Strong proficiency in JCL, COBOL, REXX, VSAM, and mainframe utilities
Knowledge of mainframe databases (DB2, IMS) and transaction processing systems (CICS, MQ)
Solid understanding of system internals, performance tuning, and job scheduling
