Customer Service Representative - MUST HAVE A SECRET CLEARANCE
MCH Consulting Services is seeking a dedicated and personable Customer Service Representative to join their team. This role involves engaging directly with clients to provide exceptional support and resolve inquiries related to Navy household goods shipments. The ideal candidate will handle inbound and outbound communications while ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities
Respond to inquiries from Navy HHG customers regarding their shipments, entitlements, and service options. Average call volume per clerk is 200–250 monthly
Log all customer interactions in the Remedy database and use the Contact Center phone system to manage calls and after-call work
Review service members' or employees’ orders and explain shipment and storage options, potential excess costs, transit times, and responsibilities
Complete and finalize DD Form 1299 and associated documentation in support of HHG and POV moves. Typical processing time per application is 6–8 minutes
Monitor and ensure Transportation Service Providers (TSPs) and contractors meet contractual and regulatory requirements for packing and moving services
Conduct telephonic inspections with customers to verify service quality and report deficiencies as necessary
Communicate with other departments or commands when customer issues exceed the scope of the call center and require additional support
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 4 years of logistics experience, including at least 2 years within a Navy or Marine Corps environment
Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
Ability to multitask and adapt in a dynamic work environment
Familiarity with the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) or the capacity to learn and interpret military logistics policies quickly
Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English; able to communicate clearly via phone
Secret Security Clearance (Required)
