The role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining test equipment to perform electrical, electronic, and mechanical tests on control equipment, ensuring they meet customer specifications and safety requirements.

Responsibilities
Test equipment, ensure it meets customer specifications as well as safety and quality requirements
Ensure a safe work environment for self and others
Constantly evolve in product and process knowledge; may require additional classroom work or assigned reading
Build positive relationships that support job objectives and a team environment
Develop rapport and establish relationships with customers; will interface heavily with customers on witness tests
Record data and write reports; process paperwork timely, accurately, and with accountability
Follow procedures with accurately, efficiently and with strict attention to details
Troubleshoot various problems that could occur during course of test; requires Tester to think critically to solve problems
Continuously improve work environment processes; may require Tester to develop test setups and new procedures when current procedures are inadequate
Troubleshoot and repair warranty and non-warranty problems
Recognize and report quality issues through the correct channels as they arise
Must be able to work flexible hours; including overtime and weekends
Qualification
Required
Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics from an accredited institution
No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 - miles of the Arden, NC facility. Active - Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation

Strong knowledge of the following fundamental electrical concepts: Basic Electricity, Motors and Controls, PLC Programming and Fundamentals AC/DC
