Responsibilities
Operate the de-palletizer and/or pail de-nester
Operate computers and other controls that are used as part of the packaging systems
Enter data in accordance with the batch slip
Insert filter bags and change as necessary
Clear filler jams and clean up spills
Load lid magazine as required
Operate label machines
Perform set-up functions such as tank cleaning and label room operations
Load boxes and operate case packer
Operate lift truck as needed
Load outbound trailers accurately and timely
Pull samples for QC as required
Maintain plant quality standards for package appearance
Perform and participate in general housekeeping activities
Collect and dispose of generated waste
Train others as assigned
Compliance with all safety, environmental and health policies and procedures
Follow all Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) regulations and guidelines, including active participation in SMART, VPP and other safety programs
Qualification
Required
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
Preferred
At least one (1) year experience working in a manufacturing or distribution facility
