Field Sales & Support Representative - Agriculture

Responsibilities
Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout California’s Central Valley
Provide ongoing sales and operational support to agricultural Co-Op members across California’s Central Valley
Drive Co-Op sales growth by expanding participation and increasing purchasing volume across assigned accounts
Conduct frequent on-site visits to huller/sheller, processor, and grower operations to identify purchasing opportunities
Position Co-Op as the preferred purchasing channel across MRO, operating supplies, and services
Own member relationships and serve as a trusted liaison between Co-Op members and supplier partners
Support quoting, ordering, and procurement activity to convert opportunities into recurring spend
Proactively identify member needs and opportunities to drive cross-sell and expansion opportunities within existing member accounts
Resolve order, pricing, delivery, and service issues efficiently and professionally to protect relationships and revenue
Clearly communicate Co-Op benefits, supplier programs, and value propositions to members
Maintain accurate records of member interactions, opportunities, and issues
Collaborate internally with sales, operations, and procurement teams to ensure member success
Partner with suppliers to drive volume, pricing leverage, and program adoption
Track sales activity, member engagement, and performance metrics to support forecasting and growth targets
Proven sales and relationship-management skills, ideally in a field-based or territory role
Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to sell value, not just price
Excellent interpersonal skills and comfort engaging plant managers, buyers, and operators
Experience in agriculture, with a strong preference for almonds, walnuts, and pistachios
Preferred experience in growing, hulling/shelling, and/or processing environments
Self-motivated, results-driven mindset with the ability to work independently in a field-based, customer role and manage a territory
Spanish language proficiency is a plus
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
