Engineering Mentoring and Apprentice Program Lead

Responsibilities

Lead the expansion, implementation, and management of engineering mentoring and apprenticeship programs
Collaborate with leaders to identify mentoring and apprentice program needs
Develop training materials and resources to support both mentors and apprentices
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of mentoring and apprenticeship initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
Act as a liaison between the engineering organization and HR to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Provide guidance and support to mentors and apprentices, addressing challenges and ensuring a positive experience
Champion a culture of knowledge-sharing and professional growth

Qualification

Required

Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience
Experience in Adult Learning, Instructional Design, Engineering Management
Experience managing Career Development Programs

Preferred

Experience as a practicing engineer or in a technical role prior to transitioning into Learning and Development (L&D)
Certifications such as Program Management, or relevant L&D certifications (e.g., Certified Professional in Talent Development)
A Master's degree in Adult Learning, Instructional Design, Engineering Management, or a related field is a plus
