Responsibilities
Administer and optimise EMS applications, including configuration, tuning, and patch management
Diagnose and resolve system issues to ensure high availability of operational services
Deploy, test, and monitor system fixes and enhancements in live environments
Review technical changes and support controlled production releases
Analyse system logs and diagnostics to identify and resolve root causes
Support system integration and continuous platform improvements
Qualification
Required
5+ years' experience with power system applications, such as AGC, load forecasting, economic dispatch, power flow, state estimation, and contingency analysis
Hands‑on experience supporting enterprise EMS / SCADA platforms in operational environments
Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
Experience with industry communication protocols (IEC 60870‑5‑101/104, DNP3, Modbus, ICCP, OPC)
Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL
Programming or scripting experience for system integration and automation
Proven ability to deploy fixes and updates on live systems
Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
Preferred
Experience in consulting or customer‑facing engineering roles
Exposure to operator training simulators or control room environments
